What is dReveal

dReveal is a reporting tool divided into two layers. In the first layer, reports are created using our desktop designer tools. This task can be accomplished by you, your team, or our team if you require assistance. In the second layer, the main focus is on presenting the report to the end user. We offer various options based on your needs.

We support different types of reports (Grid, Dashboard, and Documents), each with its own set of options (sorting, column formatting, conditional formatting, grouping, exports to Excel or PDF, etc.) that allow the end user to configure the reports to meet their needs.

In the first layer, you can connect to your data, select columns, relate tables, add filters, calculated fields, and more using our Model Designer. Once the model is created, it can be used in any of our report designers (Grid Designer, Dashboard Designer, Document Designer).

In the second layer, after the report is created, users can view their data through various options: our Lite version, the more complete Enterprise version, or by embedding the report into your own application.

The following picture illustrates how dReveal creates reports with a single modeling abstraction layer, allowing a single model to be reusable across different report types.
